Tapas for the day…

April 12, 2010

Time to weed out the winter clothes and pack them away, which means it is time to bring out the sunny clothes.  I never got around to visiting the resale boutique, will try to get that done this week.

Community theater board meeting this week…what to choose for our 2010-2011 season is high on the list.  Nothing has leapt off the page and screamed PERFORM ME yet…hopefully someone else will be inspired…we have a couple of proposals to consider.

Speaking of community theater, we are getting our act together for the upcoming 2010 EMACT Drama Festival…we have a cut-down version of The Dixie Swim Club that we will look at tonight…I’m sure it will be well-tweaked before the evening is through.  We only have a total of 60 minutes to perform, so appropriate cutting is vital…we want to keep all the details but in a much tighter, more compact format.  NOT easy.  I’m looking forward to seeing all the Dixie Chicks tonight for our first get-together…

Wish I had taken photos, but our yard is looking so springy…the lawn is long and shaggy (should be trim and toned by this afternoon), the daffodils are blooming, the tulips and other later bulbs are clumping beautifully and will soon burst forth, the fruit trees are all covered with blooms that signify fruit to come.  We still have to prune the roses and grape vines and raspberry canes soon!

I have to do that winter clothes for summer clothes switch also. I just don’t know when I can find the time.
